You are right, Teclis always ignore the first miscast each round. The source doesn't matter (double 6s or magic item..).

Would it be possible to remove the Casting dice and Dispel Dice information in the Roster Statistics section because that information was for 7th ed.

There is no bug with the warbanner. Core unit can only take a banner worth 25 points or less. Warbanner worth 35 points.
