Currently the only way to export is to drag the portfolio from iTunes back onto your computer. There'll be an "Email portfolio" option in the next release, which should be out late next week.

There should be a big blue "Install Updates" button on the updates screen. If there isn't, the file hasn't been added to Hero Lab properly - does it appear in the iTunes file syncing list?

You can delete files from the "File Sharing" section of iTunes when your iPad is sync'd. This is something we'll be improving in a future update.
