Licensing on a new laptop...

I emailed support with this question, but haven't gotten a response yet, so I'm going to post it here.

I recently purchased a HeroLab license, and I love it. Shortly after I purchased it, however, I bought a new laptop. I've already received a secondary license for my desktop computer. So, is there any way to license a copy of HeroLab on my new laptop without purchasing another license? Can I cancel the first license and apply it to the new laptop? Or, am I able to simply install HeroLab on the new laptop and just use the old license?

Thanks for any help!

We've been at GenCon this past week and just got home late last night. So we're now trying to get caught up on everything.

You can simply re-use your existing laptop license on the new laptop, which will effectively *move* it to the new computer. If it has been less than 120 days since you activated your license on the original laptop, this won't work. So you'll need to send an email to support (like you did) that includes your license number. We can then modify your license so that you can move it sooner than the 120 days.

You'll find more details on how all this works on our website. Just go to the Hero Lab section and look at the licensing details.

Oh! Well, that's easy! :D

I knew you guys were at GenCon, so I didn't mind waiting for a response. I'll set it up and email support today.

Thanks!
