Agile Maneuvers for Fey?

I've been trying to create a custom fey race and comparing the HL stat block to the writeup, I'd noticed that the CMB uses Dex instead of Str. I disabled the WorldIsSquare houserules, but it still shows up with Dex. I switched to Halfling, CMB uses Str. I switched to Grig, CMB uses Dex. I then checked the Fey type, but no mention of changing CMB. So did I miss the rule? Or do I miss to disable some source package? If the latter, how do I figure out, which it is?

What size is your race?

EldritchWeaver December 23rd, 2018 01:18 PM

It's tiny.

anything smaller than small, replaces str for dex.

Where do I find that rule? I need the reference for documentation purposes, too.

Thanks, I can't believe I missed it there...

CRB 198 Creatures that are size Tiny or smaller use their Dexterity modifier in place of their Strength modifier to determine their CMB Just because I spent 10 minutes searching the word "Size" in the CRB :).

I went straight to the section that defined CMB.
