Using the Editor to make custom weapons

So i'm trying to make a custom weapon in the weapon. Just a normal weapon not an enchanted one i want to add the normal weapon into my game and i can't find any information on here about doing such making sure it has all the special abilities you can give weapons using the Pf custom weapon making rules. Any tips or links would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a lot of editor experience, but I know a little.

You can open multiple copies of the editor at the same time.
The stuff that Lone Wolf put in, is usually protected so you cannot make a copy via a button click.
If you can find a weapon which a user has added to the community package, you could copy that.

I'll assume you open two editors and take something like a non-magical longsword.

Get the information for the sword from the first editor.
Copy each piece of information to the second editor, section by section, until you have it exactly the same.
You'll want to change the name and the unique ID to something different.
You'll also want to make any changes that the Custom Weapon Rules have resulted in, that is different from your base weapon.

Once you're good with what you have, clicking Test, adds that to Hero Lab.
