Automatically Assigned Tags

I just wanted to share something I found useful.

I am in the middle of entering in a huge amount of data for my game universe.

Whenever I work on one Topic, I end up having to quick-create (CTRL-Q) a lot of others just to keep the links right.

Then I create relationships and tags and all of that stuff.

But what I end up with is a huge number of Topics, and some are completed and some are just names but no content. The web gets larger with each new Topic entered.

What I found really helpful is to set a tag of "EMPTY" in "Automatically Assigned Tags" under Scope Filtering (the blue tag icon beside the search box).

Now every new Topic I create has the EMPTY tag, and when I get data filled in I remove it. I can easily find which topics are filled in and which are just stubs.

Yep. Someone else also suggested using "Incomplete", which is what I would be more inclined to use. Even if a topic is no longer empty, it can still be incomplete.

Aaaaaaand I just hit a crash bug.

Any time I have automatically assign tags turned on, adding any tags to a Topic manually causes a crash when I save the topic. Sigh.

Reported.

I was having the same bug, but I don't have it when I also check "Include Automatically Assigned Tags in Scope Filter". I don't know why they both have to be checked.
