"Newer version of product required" on iPad solution
Hi all,
Due to a bug in Hero Lab, when using HLExport to package up data files to be used with the latest Pathfinder update, you may get an error "Newer version of product required". This will be fixed by the next version of Hero Lab coming out for the iPad (which should release at the end of this week), but until that releases, I've prepared an updated version of HLExport that will fix this problem here: http://www.wolflair.com/download/hp/...rt_HL42Fix.zip If you export your data files using this special version of HLExport, this bug will not occur. To install it, please do the following: 1) Download and unzip the above file. It should contain one file, "HLExport.exe". 2) Quit Hero Lab and HLExport before continuing. 3) In Windows Explorer, go to the place where you installed Hero Lab, which will typically be "C:\Program Files\Hero Lab\" or "C:\Program Files (x86)\Hero Lab\". 4) Copy the new version of HLExport from step 1 into this folder, overwriting the existing version. 5) Load Hero Lab and export the data files again. The new export file should work properly on the iPad. This bug should be fixed on the iPad within the week, and sorry for the inconvenience! |
Any chance of a Mac verion of this ? I round the HLExport application inside Hero Lab. Package so replacions that or one of the supporting files would be doable.
