Arcane Background - PowerDeny?

I'm looking at the Mystic for Savage Rifts and coming into an issue which seems to be common for the core SWADE as well.

For example, say a hero can select Arcane Protection for AB: Magic, but not for AB: Psionics. As it is, if I give PowerDeny.powArcaneProtect tag to the Psionics arcane background, it forwards to the hero and Arcane Protection doesn't show up on the list to select for either power selection tab.

How do we make a power selectable for one Arcane Background and not another?

Hmmmm. I may have to look at that mechanism. It's likely conflicting with the multiple Arcane Backgrounds.

It seems like the PowerGiveG and PowerGiveF tags are the same way. If any one Group/Faction considers a power valid then it becomes valid for any Arcane Background.

Anything I can do to help work out a solution and test it?

No, I'll likely just have to alter where it deals with those tags a bit.
