it's there. You have to turn on d20 SRD Psionics Support in your configuration window.

The Focused Specialist Wizard variant from Complete Mage is available through this community set (download instructions available at the beginning of this thread). You can access this by checking "Complete Mage" and "Use Variant Classes" in the hero configuration window. Let me know if you help locating these options.

Bug Report. Elven Pride of Arms from the Dragon Magazine datafile does not properly identify magic items of the appropriate type. Additionally, it doesn't account for Elven Thinblade, Lightblade, or Courtblade.

Bug Report: Eye of Gruumsh
 
Two Issues:
1. The Alignment restrictions on Eye of Gruumsh (3.5 - Complete Warrior.user - cHelpEye) should be Forbid Any Lawful, Forbid Any Good, Forbid NeutralNeutral. Currently it is Forbid Any Lawful, Forbid Any Good, Forbid NeutralEvil.
2. The Axe, Orc Double is both WebProf.wAxeOrcDbl and WebProf.wCoWaAxDbl. cEyeGruum tests for WebProf.wAxeOrcDbl, but the feats grant proficiency with WebProf.wCoWaAxDbl. This causes that test to fail.

There's no schedule for adding material to the community files. Mostly stuff gets added when someone has time to create something they want for themselves. I think Sendric keeps a list of requests, and occasionally can work on something others want.
There is "help" accessible from HL and also in the editor that talks about making classes. Prestige classes are similar, and it can be useful to load an existing one in the editor and see how it was done.

It depends on the class. Simple ones can take an hour or two if you're comfortable with the editor. Complex ones can take a few days. Adding classes with entirely new spellcasting systems like those from Magic of Incarnum can take weeks to months and may destroy your will to live. Or maybe that was just me. :)

Sand Shaper doesn't look too bad. I'll take a crack at it.

I have Weapons of Legacy. I took a look at the code to try and add it. It's not just you :D

Maybe that's why my subconscious keeps preventing me from working on that one. :)

In the meantime, I have completed Sand Shaper and attached the updated Sandstorm user file. This can be downloaded and dropped into your data folder. It *should* compile and work normally, but I can't give you your money back if it doesn't.

Hi and welcome to Hero Lab. Unfortunately, Bone Knight is not available in the community set at this time. I'm not familiar with the class, but I'll look into the possibility of adding it.

Thanks for this however, I'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong. I placed it in the data folder but nothing loads from it when I open HL and look for it in the Character Class list.

Next, I went into editor mode and opened up the file. When I clicked on Test now it popped up some warnings in the bootstrap items section. When I looked there, all of the bootstrap items appear to be missing.

So, if you receive errors upon loading any user-created content then no user-created content will load (even if there's just one error). When that happens, you'll see things like this where none of the bootstraps are loaded. In cases like this, the error is what's interesting. I forgot I had to make changes to the Players Handbook 1 file as well. See attached.

Hi Sendric,

Thanks for your help on this however that doesn't work either. From what I can tell, those bootstrap items that its looking for relate to the Class Features "Dust Magic, Desert Insight, Sandshape, etc."

This is what it can't find. Is there a tutorial on how to create these items? I could then do them myself and share what I've done?

Darwulf - Do you get errors when you open 3.5 in Hero Lab? Before you open a portfolio. If so, can you copy/paste the error(s) here.

No Error's when opening HL d20.

What does happen is when I attempt to either update a character or creating a new character the Sand Shaper PrC does not appear in the list at all in the actual program.
Next when I opened up the sandstorm.user file and looked at the Sand Shaper PrC that Sendric created for me, I then found that it is missing those bootstrap items which are the "Special Abilities" of the Sand Shaper Class.

Hello All,

I've been attempting to create the VC Druid from the PHB2 however I just can't get anything to show up in my list of available classes. No errors testing what i've created but It just doesn't show up in my list...

Here is what i've done just attempting to get all the changes.

All of the class specials that you referenced are contained within the file I sent you. The only explanation I can come up with is that it isn't compiling or you copied the file over after bringing up HL d20. It's important that you copy the files I've attached (both Sandstorm and the PHB1 files) into your data folder then open HL d20. If an error appears during this process please post that. If not then you should be good to go as long as you check "Sandstorm" as a source in your portfolio configuration.

If this still doesn't work, please open up the data file and press "Test Now" on the class and let me know what happens.

Shows up for me. Note that this is a class variant. You must check on "Use Variant Classes" in your configuration window (near the bottom) and go to the Variant Classes tab in your portfolio to see this.

Okay, I re-copied over both files; paying close attention that HL "Was Not" open and Sand Shaper is now showing in the list. Thanks. I can only think that every time that I tried this I had HL open in some capacity.

So, Sand Shaper appears when creating a new character but doesn't show up on a previously created character. Found this interesting.

This is most likely caused by the older portfolio not having Sandstorm checked as a source in the configuration window. When a portfolio is saved, it also saves what sources are checked.

Dark Template has the wrong Hide in Plain Sight. It currently says you can "hide in natural terrain even while being observed", it should be "Use the Hide skill even while
being observed (except in natural daylight, the area of a daylight spell, or a similar effect)"

The Community 3.5 Cityscape user file includes 16 feats, 8 spells and 4 metamagics. The web enhancement features have not been implemented.

Sendric are you still updating and creating 3.5 content?

If so I have started working on the Ghost Visage from Fiend Folio as a familiar for the Dread Necromancer class.

I have a lot of the Ghost Visage done. But I can't seem to figure out how to add it to the familiar list available to the Dread Necromancer.

Would you like a copy of what I have?
