Bug: Charisma starts at 8.
 

Basically all of my stats (according to the Player's Handbook) are supposed to start at 10 for point-buy, but generating a character in the demo version of Hero Lab leaves me starting with 10/10/10/10/10/8, as in the picture linked below. Why is this?

I'd noticed the same thing, but the numbers seem to come out right. When I get a chance I'll look it over and see if I can come up with a reason.

I've got the full package, and everything is 10. Maybe there was a bug in an earlier version that wasn't fixed in the demo version?

Is the version downloaded though Hero Lab itself not the latest full version?

I don't even have my 4e rulebooks anymore, but my memory of 4e was you started with 10/10/10/10/10/8

My characters in WoTC's old character builder also started that way, you get 22 pts to customize (Method 2)
