Additional Beta Phases?
 

Will there be any additional beta phases?

We'll be adding people to the Beta team based on their support of the Realm Works Kickstarter, but that will be the only expansion of the team.

Whats your estimated time on getting people in the Beta who will be joining based on their kickstarter contributions?

ETA is first half of March. We have to recover after a little after the KS and then we'll bring the new team members on board. :)

Is there a time table for when the cloud/networking features will be testable?

Are there plans to support multiple DM's/writers per campaign?

(One of my fondest memories of DM'ing was back just after the first Neverwinter Nights game came out. Myself and four of my friends created and wrote a campaign module and then the five of us opened the game up to 4 public players; the net result was 5 dungeon masters dedicated to telling this single story; one for each player, and 1 jumping back and forth between players and preparing encounters/monsters, etc., in effect adding meat to the story's skeleton, tailoring the campaign to the players; we had some scripted conversations, but most of it was a live DM talking through the NPC's. We were mostly able to pull it off because we were having a LAN party, were in the same room, and wanted to do something wild. :D)

Now that the KS has funded, the cloud stuff should begin limping for the Beta team in late April.

Yes. That's designed into the architecture. However, it probably won't be implemented until after V1.0 is released.

Does that imply that there is hope that the Alpha, Dire and Arctic Wolves might have a chance to get in before May?

Unfortunately, no. What I was referring to was the "Howl at the Moon" backer level, which included participation in the Beta team. Sorry for the confusion.

No worries. That was why I asked. However.....

Should the need arise, I am certain that those of us in the next couple of tiers down would be more than happy to step up. ;)

I'm reasonably positive I could be convinced to be a beta tester in about 0.054 seconds. :D
