Specific army choices missing?
 

Hello, I recently upgraded to newest AB (ver 3.1?) by on-line upgrading and I love it.
But I tried to create an Ork army list of Evil Sunz speed freaks and couldn't find them as a selection, just normal Orks.
I then looked to the SM list for Black Templars and couldn't find them either, just vanilla marines.
Also no doctrines for IG?
I downloaded every new patch/file/download I could find.
Has something changed?
Am I doing something wrong (very possible)?

also is there an on-line printable manual?

You need to look for the "Change Rules" button. It's the little button with a clipboard & checkmark. It's under the army size under the Create New Roster dialog, or to the top right of the available units display on the main AB screen. That is where you choose various roster options including Sub-lists, chapters, doctrines and the like. This was pointed out in the release notes that come up each time you load the WH40K file (you did read those notes, right?)

To see other sublists such as you mentioned when selecting the race, i.e. Space Marines, click on the little clipboard on screen and then you will see a set of other options suchas divergences, chapters of renown etc. This applies to all races
