Serenity Vehicles

Is there a way or will there be a way to build ships and vehicles for the Serenity game?

I'm planning on running a game soon and the ability to construct vehicles in HL would be greatly appreciated. :)

Its been awhile and with the change in the system, is anyone able to add vehicles to Serenity? by chance or modify them as a character choice ie Character, NPC, Ship maybe?
