Survey Appreciation

That was great!

Not only did I feel like you've listened to all of our bitching over the last 18 months, you've listened well enough to be able to accurately summarize what we're really asking for.

I also felt like it explained a lot of things, like what's a priority, what's less of a priority and how all the various bits and bobs will fit in to the production schedule.

Thank you for taking the time to write all of the explanations and extra text at the top, that was very helpful.

I feel listened to in a very good way.

Thank you for the opportunity to express my opinions on your work.

Nothing else goes in this thread, just appreciation for the survey.

(Bitching about the results comes later).

I would like to second what MaxSupernova said. Feels good to be able to give feedback to the developers, but also a reality check. Easy to demand a new feature in the forums, quite another thing to rank that request among the large list of requested features for other users.

Yep. Welcome to the juggling act that is our daily reality. With everything decision to do X, we end up saying no to A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. It's a very difficult process with a zillion factors to consider. I'm glad that taking the survey providing some insights into the process we go through on this end. It's a lot harder than it seems on the surface. :)

What Max said.

Exciting to see you're considering PDF import/export - I didn't even know that was on the "maybe" list. Actually I was just generally really impressed with the depth of the survey - there's a ton of stuff on there I wanted to see, but assumed was off the cards.

Of course, my number one issue is still that I want to see the default categories structured more conveniently, but there's almost nothing in the survey that I don't appreciate on some level. Whatever comes out of this, I'll be looking forward to the improvements!

Definitely have to agree that the survey (and its depth) was very well put together. Many small things there that I thought only I was interested in...

Great job guys... can't wait to see the results.

I have to agree with Max, very well done, it seemed to cover just about everything except integration with the groups coffee maker, which BTW may be a cool feature.

It was set up very well, and thanks for the ability for us to add comments!

It was worth the wait.

It really was great. I loved the chance to scold them on things that I feel they're doing poorly on (like releasing unfinished documentation, either finish it or don't put in the sections that have TBD all over them). While at the same time telling them what an AMAZING product this is.

Seriously, good survey. It's always nice to have areas in a survey where I can say things like, "This is a good way to handle this basic issue I have....."

Ditto.
