PDF Update FRUSTRATION....

Hey so the other day I got this;

http://i39.servimg.com/u/f39/18/04/17/70/captur10.jpg

And so I tried to update, but got this;

http://i39.servimg.com/u/f39/18/04/17/70/captur11.jpg

So I looked, and only found these;

http://i39.servimg.com/u/f39/18/04/17/70/captur12.jpg

...And I can't seem to see which one uses .pdfs....

Any help?

Thanks

Once you download the pdf program's installer, close Hero Lab, then run the installer for the pdf program, and then re-start Hero Lab. The installer can't run while the program it's trying to update is still running.

So what Mathias said works. Or when you see the above message simply close down HL and then click the RETRY button. :)

Just to ask for my own sanity: is there an etiquette for responding to multiple identical posts from a user?

I ask because I responded in the other (more recent) thread less than an hour after the question was raised, and this seems to happen to me a lot on various forums across the web: I respond, and then the other thread is the one that gets more/official responses. Just asking if there's a "rule" I don't know about.

I think it's just bad luck? I noticed this one so answered. Then after noticed the other one. Really the threads should be merged or one deleted. Shrug.

No "rule" that I know of.

Fair enough.

The other option being that it's an anti-calendar conspiracy, and you're all out to get me...

:p ;) :D

No, wait, this is HL, not RW...

I of course have NO idea what you are referring too! :D

I had that issue too, and the solution was downloading it from the webpage without running Hero Lab.

Attempting to download, and then closing Hero Lab, and retrying... would have been a quicker and easier method, had I been aware of it.

Now I know, for next time.
