Reveal and Conceal

Hi there!

I have a new feature request today:

The following method of adding Concealed / revealed areas in the smart image would be very helpful: Instead of adding boxes or brushes, it should be possible to click - add a line - click - add another line from the end point of the first - click - add another line from the second one - repeat until you click on the start point of the first click made. Then everything inside will be revealed / concealed depending on what tool you have chosen.

This could even be enhanced by RW remembering the "areas", then when clicking inside an area it will toggle concealment on and off.

EDIT: To delete an "area" right click on it "delete", as mega-bonus add another entry "edit" and then the dots can be dragged until user clicks elsewhere.

Since stuff shows up in player view only after saving the smart image, no confirmation dialogs / popups are necessary, or should be possible to be disabled immediately (with never show again) :)

Here is a link to sweet home 3d that shows nicely what i mean, since it works similar:

Revealing by drawing a polygon would make revealing an area a lot quicker, rather than dragging a circle around to try and reveal the contents of a rectangular room.

Roll20 uses this technique as one optin for their Drawing and Fog of War (and Dynamic Lighting) areas. They call it "Polygon Reveal" in Fog of War, in addition to drawing rectangular or rounded areas.

The exception being that the area is not persisted as a drawing object for Fog of War.

Polygon shapes, drawn with the same method, are used to create light-blocking (and sight-blocking) shapes on the map for Dynamic Lighting.

Would make revealing complex rooms much easier. But it would need to come in a curved and an edged polygon version.

+1 to this.

It would really help me at the table.
