what is VTT?

Just trying to figure out if this is going to have the functionality I'm looking for. I'm a DM, and I currently maintain all the characters for my group on HLC. Will HL Online allow my players to view their particular characters on their phones during a session, for example, or would they each need their own licenses? If the former, will they be able to make in-play adjustments, such as activating abilities?

Currently, each player would need their own license to allow simultaneous viewing and use on different devices. There are plans for license enhancements to allow simultaneous use on multiple devices, however, I do not know the details or the timeline. I just somewhat patiently wait.
