Class Tab for Casters

Howdy,

First I want to say I really like Hero Labs for Pathfinder. I use it every week in my game and run my characters from a Asus 1000 HE mini. The screen is set to 800x600 (default is 1200 X 600) so it does meet the minimum recommendations for Windows. (I am aware that mini's that go below that spec really suffer in being able to access all the information.)

My problem is with caster classes. By the time you select a domain, specialization, bonded item, restricted schools, etc the screen fills up. Each section then has a "mini window" where you have to use the scroll bar to see everything that is there. The problem I have... especially with specialist wizards... is that you can get to the point where the scroll bar is so small that you cannot see what is in that section even if you scroll. And the movement of the scroll bar skips large sections of spells.

I have attached a file that is an example. My suggestion would be to break caster classes into two tabs. One for class features and one for daily spell preparation.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Actually, in HL 3.7 we've added the ability to let whole tabs scroll, which means we can reduce the amount of squeezing that's required for the individual tables, and the classes tab was one of the major reasons to add that capability. Redesigning the classes tab to take advantage of that capability may not come immediately after the 3.7 release - there's a lot of other things to do as well, but it is planned.

Good to know and thanks for working to find a way to improve the interface.

Version 5.2 of Pathfinder uses Hero Lab 3.6 and 3.7 has not yet been released is that correct?

Yes, we're still working on 3.7.
