Make sure you run Card Vault in administrator mode - that should fix this issue on Windows Vista / 7.

didn't do anything. still getting the same results

is there anything different i can try?

Have you tried restarting windows? The only time I've seen the "Out of Memory" error appear is when you run into an administrator mode problem like that.

If restarting hasn't helped, try importing both sets of data files to a new folder - it's possible that something weirdly wrong is going on with the old one. Does that fix things?

tried both of those before coming here so no it didn't help

I've investigated this and it looks like the combined Hero Clix data files are running up against an internal limit in Card Vault has, which is causing the "out of memory" message. If you delete a few of the .dat files in the new combined folder you can fix this, but then you won't have access to the content in those files. :(

I'm afraid I don't have any good answers for you on this, as I'm not sure if we'll be able to fix the issue. I've removed the suggestion on how to merge DC/Marvel Heroclix from our web site, as it no longer applies given the volume of data present.

Sorry for the bad news - please let me know if you have any further questions.

OK, i had a feeling it would be something like that.

any possibility of expanding the limit of the memory in the future?

It's something we'll look into, but I can't give you a specific time frame for it. Sorry :(
