Errantry War Warbands: Errantry Knights Standard Bearer

Errantry War Warbands: Errantry Knights Standard Bearer. In the Warbands rules the Standard Bearer is only optional WIth Warbands Not Mandatory as in the Fantasy rules. The altest update makes you take a Standard Bearer. I also don't see how to get the Free Errantry Banner if you do take a Standard Bearer.

sry, where does it say the standard is optional in warbands??

the errantry banner text is included in the unit description

If you look at part 2 of the Warbands rules posted on the US website it says:

Quote:

"Errantry War. Errantry War warbands must include at least 2 units of Knights Errant. Units of Knights Errant NEED NOT take a standard bearer per the Erranty Fervor special rule; however, any unit of Knight Erant with five or more models MAY take a standard bearere who must always carry the free Errantry Banner."

So the way I read this is the Standard Bearer is optional Errantry Knight unlike the special rule for normal Errantry War lists, but if you do take one it has to be the free Errantry Banner.

Please correct me if I am not reading this right.
