Pathfinder 2e in Classic?

Greetings,

Is it possible to get Pathfinder 2e in the classic client or is it only available online?

It's only available in Hero Lab Online.

That is a bummer... I tried the demo of the online and was not excited by it. I really like the interface of the classic.

<sigh>

Are their videos or how tos to help show the proper way to use the P2e online tool?

None that I've found, but I'll just echo this and say that I'm also finding HLO just so much less easy to use than Classic. It isn't only that the interface is so clunky - presumably that will get better with time - but that so much of what I used Classic for I just can't do in HLO. For example, in Classic if I were building a PC that was focussed on, say, Grappling, I could easily filter the available feats, magic items, etc. to find the ones that I might be interested in. But HLO, for whatever reason, only searches the title of any given rules item, not the associated text. I could give lots of other examples, but suffice to say that, as far as I'm concerned, HLO has a long way to go before it comes close to what a great product Classic was. I'm hoping that Lone Wolf is going to make that progress, but right now I'm discouraged.

There are some how-tos at the HLO Wiki, though I have to admit that I've learned mostly through trying stuff.

For resource searching and lookups I've been relying on the Archives of Nethys and the Pathfinder 2 easy Library.

There are things I like about HLO; the die roller is generally superior to HLCs, and with the Gamemastery Guide tools it's got a nice interface to build custom monsters and complex hazards.

I still use HLC for running my PF1 game. But, honestly, I can't wait for PF1 to come to HLO. Granted, the interface is significantly different than HLC and a little clunky in places, but I've found that performance-wise, HLO is drastically faster - for me at least.

I want that speed and availability for my PF1 game.

Huh, that's interesting, I've found the opposite - HLO is sooo slow and clunky for me. But then I'm not using it to run a whole table - I just use it to manage my PCs (or my bad guys when I'm GM-ing). So a lot of what I'm using it for is reference - what is that ability and how does it work - and it's true as Charlie said above, you can get that same info more easily from archives of nethys, but it's sort of sad when it makes more sense to use a free tool rather than HLO.
