Issues re-installing realmworks after win8 upgrade
 

Hi folks,

My tablet upgraded from win 8 pro to win 10 pro and now I can't get realm works to launch. I uninstalled the program and tried to reinstall it and keep getting a message saying "You have tried to upgrade data from an old version of Realm Works. Realm Works is unable to automatically perform this upgrade. Please contact support to determine options available."

The Tablet meets all the requirements, it is a full version of windows (not RT), 4gb of ram and i5 core. I've tried downloading directly to the tablet and from the computer to a thumb drive and installing on the tablet. Same result each time.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Is everything synced to the cloud? If so, delete or rename the folder containing your master.realm file, log in, and let Realm Works download everything from the server. You can get there using my Locations program or by pasting this into an Explorer window's address bar:

This worked beautifully thank you. I have been fighting with this for over a month and no one has replied to me, thank you kindly for this suggestion and helping me fix this.
