Farewell from Liz

Hello forum users!

I wanted to share with you all that I will be leaving my position with Lone Wolf Development tomorrow, April 22nd. While a difficult decision to make, I had an unexpected opportunity to take a new position in another industry.

I continue to be amazed by the wonderful community here on the forums, and I’m grateful for the tremendous support I’ve received over the past three years. That’s why it was so important that I share my news with all of you.

I’m sure this raises a number of questions, as my departure makes a small company smaller still. Rob will be posting shortly on any changes to our communication that you guys will see as a result of this. As a Hero Lab user before I joined the company, I’m confident that Lone Wolf will continue to be a force within the RPG industry and I’m excited to see what the future holds.

Gaming is still a huge part of my life (I may even see some of you at Gen Con this year). I’ll continue to tweet about RPGs (and my dogs), and you may even hear me as a guest from time to time on the Tome Show podcast.

Now, I had better get back to work. There’s still a lot to do before tomorrow. :)

Rob posted a separate outline of what my departure means for Lone Wolf. You can read his post here.

All the best in your future endevours. Seems to be really short notice... :)

And congratulations for your new job, you have to take such opportunities whenever you can!

Liz gave us an appropriate amount of notice. We wanted to figure out what the effects of her departure would be and announce any changes at the same time, so we asked Liz to hold off on her announcement until now.

Thanks for the clarification. I hope you'll find a suitable person to fill the vacant position soon.

Congratulations, Liz!

Hope it's as good for you as it should be, and great to know you're still going to hang around here, even if "only" as a user.
