Bug reporting for Frog God Games files (Including Tome of Horrors Complete)

To report bugs with the Frog God Games files, including Tome of Horrors Complete and Rappan Athuk, you can go to Frog God Games Support and open a new ticket.

Under Help Topic, you can select FGG -Rappan Athuk, FGG - Tome of Horrors Complete, or Frog God Games General.

Under Department select Frog God Games.

Please provide as much information as possible so that we can try to work to correct the issue in a timely fashion.

We have a lot of adjustments that we are trying to do for both the ToHC files as well as the RA files, and hope to have more information on them in the near future.

**You could also send an e-mail to deepcavefrogs (at) gmail (dot) com with the same information and it will get reported through the bug reporting system.**

If you are receiving the following errors with your Rappan Athuk file,

Quote:

"The data files could not be loaded due to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors.

The following errors occured:

File: FrogGodGames_Sources.1st (line 4) - Source - Duplicate record encountered ('pFrogGod')
File: FrogGodGames_Sources.1st (line 12) - Source - Duplicate record encountered ('pFGGMonst')
File: FrogGodGames_Sources.1st (line 37) - Source - Duplicate record encountered ('bTomeHorr')"
Please see this post.

Could this be stickied, please?

What about those of us who received our RA files from the kickstarter? Will we be able to download the file after it is fixed?

Those who purchased the Rappan Athuk HL files through FGG's webpage, or received it through the KS for RA should receive the updated versions. (The updated versions will only be correcting errors in the existing file, completing some coding to get things to work instead of being just text and updating any errata info I can find. It will not be adding additional material to the existing file.)

I have not used the RA files yet myself, and was not involved with them until recently, but have been trying to go through them to find things to update. If you see things that could be better, go to the link above and report it so that I can look into it. The more information I receive from the users, the better the file will become.

Any chance this could be stickied for the Tome of Horrors Complete error reporting?

Hey, didn't know I could do that. There you go, Umarian

LOL Thanks Aaron.

Checking for updates gets this error:

Quote:

The following errors were encountered while downloading secondary updates:

Error while retrieving http://www.talesofthefroggod.com/her...CPupdates.xml: <h1 style='color:#497A97;font-size:12pt;font-weight:bold'>404 - Not Found
I'm guessing it has to do with moving to a new web site, as the original appears to be gone.

Umarian October 21st, 2013 11:14 AM

I didn't know that the change over of the HL files was live, and no one filed a bug report in the bug reporting system, so I was unaware that there were problems. For future problems, please use the bug reporting system at the link below to report any problems with the files. Using that system will send me a notification when it is submitted, and will not get lost in threads that I may or may not see.

The link is above in the original thread, but just in case you miss it, I will link it again.

I've got this same error - where would I find the answer?

The link was in the Razor coast documentation, so I was also surprised when it no longer worked as I was trying to set up my other computer to cater for players working on characters in the Rappan Athuk setting.

I did get word from FGG that it was because of the site changes, but no eta on when they expect it to be fixed.

Please see this post for how to correct this problem.

I just installed it for the first time from the new URL. I got an error with cHelpSon and cSonChEIAE

QUICK FIX: I went to the Songchanger class and changed the 5000 to 2500 for the bootstrap above. I did not test if it works, but it does at least remove the error message (and Hero Lab moves along normally).

Umarian October 29th, 2013 06:34 PM

/sigh. Looking into this one.

Umarian October 31st, 2013 05:17 AM

This has been fixed. Somehow we got version 1.1 and version 1.11 mixed up, and 1.0 was loaded by mistake. It is corrected now.

SeeleyOne October 31st, 2013 04:26 PM

Thanks for figuring that out. It also makes sense why you would not have noticed it, as your machine would already have the corrected version.

Techno November 28th, 2013 02:08 AM

I am getting a similar error involving cHelpSon and cSonChEIAE after updating my path to the new and correct FGG URL. When I removed the FGG updates, the error was resolved, but I would like to use these FGG updates, if possible.

Update: I re-installed the FFG updates and now everything seems to be working fine. It seems like the Rite Publishing files didn't want to play nice with the FFG files.

You did not have the correct version loaded and that is why you were getting that error. Re-downloading it corrected that problem.

Also, as a reminder, please report any bugs or problems here. Since I went back to school, I don't check the boards that often (think it has been over 2 weeks since I looked at boards) so things can get missed. The error reporting software sends me a notification immediately so that I know there is something to go look at.

Tag 'sClass.cHelpRWz' not defined
Location: 'eval' script for Component 'MythHelper' (Eval Script 'Generate mhSplExpr') near line 37

It pops up when I opened the "Demon Lord, Baphomet" on Hero Lab. I did not open any other one as of yet to see if I would get the same error.. but I will be soon. (heading for bed).

I need to use this thing tonight and was getting this annoying message each time I try and make even the slightest change in the portfolio. So while it is not so much that I can't use it, it would slow things down considerably for me during the encounter and with all the nuances of this encounter that can be very detrimental :)

I appreciate any and all help I can get for this!! :)
Thank you!!

Oh and as an FYI. I have all the Pathfinder Add-Ons from Lone Wolf. I also have the Community Bestiary, Shadow Chemosh Adjustments, Frumple Adjustments and a few other Add-Ons too. I also have Both the Tome of Horrors from FGG too if that makes any differences.
