Noticed an error with the item 'Composite Elvencraft Longbow'

When equipped in standard form the weapons section displays both the bow configuration with hit/damage and the quarterstaff configuration with hit/damage as a single or double weapon.

When equipped in magic form (in this case +1 Composite Elvencraft Longbow) the weapons section does not display the quarterstaff configuration.

This looks like it might be a core issue. I don't really understand why you would get a damage bonus at all, though. Seems weird.

Thanks. Known issue that I had forgotten about. I'm not really sure how to go about fixing this, but I'll give it some thought.

Hello,

I noticed that the template Dragonborn of Bahamut has a bug in its skill set. It overrides all synergies and adjustments to skills. Not only that, but if you pick the aspect of wings, it doesn't even add the +10 to jump.

Thanks,

Thanks for the report. The first issue is a two-part problem. Just looking at the Halfling race, it appears the racial bonuses provided by that race are being put into the "Bonus" field instead of the "Racial" field. That means the person who scripted the template had to remove bonuses from the "Bonus" in order to remove the Racial skill bonuses, which in turn also removes other bonuses. If the Halfling is the only race that does this, this will be an easy fix. Something tells me that's not the case, so this may take a while to truly resolve.

The second part should be an easier fix which I will have resolved for the next release.

Thank you for the reply. However, it overrides all manual adjustments that show in the character sheet. Even when I noticed the +10 jump was missing, I tried to put it in via adjustment, but it didn't show up. When I deleted the template, the manual adjustment showed up.

Yes. I have resolved the issue, but have not released it yet. It will be some time before the next release is available. If you need something sooner you can email me, and I will get you something you can use.

Much obliged, Sendric. I'm in no hurry. I can wait until the next release.

I think I found a couple of feats that are missing from the most recent build:

Shadow Weave Magic (Player's Guide to Faerun, p. 43); and
Mindsight (Lords of Madness, p. 126)

Any idea if those can be added to the next release?

We received this bug report through our own bug tracking system:
Quote:

I encountered a problem with the Dragon Disciple class in Hero Lab. When
the class is first assigned to a Sorcerer, I selected the "Add more magic
levels (1 left)" option to add a bonus spell to the sorcerer, and there is
no option to pick the Sorcerer class to assign the magic level. This
appears to be a mistake, because I can select an adjustment to the spells
per day for the Sorcerer without a problem.
I've checked it on the most recent download of the d20 files, and I can't seem to select a class, myself - it appears to be adding the "Bonus Spell Increase" pick in the Magic Levels table, instead of the pick to let you select a class.

Going to assume you meant to put this in the d20 Bug Report thread for me instead of the community one. :)

Shadow Weave Magic is in the community set. Turning on either the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting or the Players Guide to Faerun sources should allow you to see it in the feat selection menu.

I will add the Mindsight feat. It appears to have been over-looked, probably because it's in a different location than the other feats of that book.
