Realmworks Crashing

I submitted a bug report, but thought I'd reach out to the community while I'm waiting for a response.

I received an error while syncing a realm that has now left me unable to open realm works. The application loading page displays for a short time, then exits with no error or message.

I do see an error in the event log (shown below). I tried reinstalling the software with no change in behavior. Any thoughts from the community while I'm waiting for a response from Lone Wolf?

Thanks

Sounds like your database is corrupt. You could try restoring from a backup.

Thanks, If I am unable to open Realmworks, how would I restore the db?

How much new data was being uploaded to the server in the sync that failed?

If the update you were sending is small, and you can re-do any changes easily, you can move or rename the MASTER.realm file. If you do that, the application will create a new, empty database and you can sync down from the server the old version there.

If, on the other hand, the changes are significant and not easily re-done, you should wait to hear from tech support. I don't think anyone else can help with that particular situation if you don't even get into the application.
