Version 1.5 is now available
With the release of Hero Lab version 3.6, version 1.5 of the Cortex files is now available. Here are the changes, copied from the FAQ:
Enhancements & Changes
- The Configure Hero form now allows easier access to the settings for the hero.
- Added "wikitext" statblock output from the "File" -> "Output Active Hero Summary" menu item.
- The Hero's background details are now printed as the last thing on the character sheet. This is controlled by the "Include Personal Details on Sheet" output setting on the configure hero form.
- When you create an NPC, an NPC tab now appears before the Personal tab. Details entered on the NPC tab appear in statblock output.
Bug Fixes
- The Core rules complication Superstitious should be d2/d6, not d4-d6.
- The Supernatural stock portfolios "The Bar" and "The Supernatural" were giving load errors.
- Some of the long trait descriptions in DH (Animate, Branded by the Infernal, Cipher, Marked by the Divine, and Vampire) had to be pared down somewhat, to avoid problems with long text strings.
Data File Authoring
- Options for "Bundled/Free Asset" and "Bundled/Free Complication" have been added to the Asset and Complication sections of the editor.
