FGG Razor Coast files?

I spent way too much time searching around for the Razor Coast Hero Lab files, but it appears that they have been removed and all links invalidated.

Anyone know how I can get these? I'm happy to pay for them. Looks like I missed my window to get the files by a few years.

Well, after all that searching, I found the answer when I had stopped looking for it.

Here it is, in case anyone else runs into the same trouble:

Entered as the secondary URL. I just tried it and it works.

Thank you, ShadowChemosh!

That is just the "free" stuff or "CORE" campaign stuff for FGG games. I "think" you still have to buy the Razor Coast specific package from the FGG website. HERE is the link the post.

Please note that the "Fire as She Bears" ship building rules I added to the "Pathfinder Community Pack" sometime ago. Once activated you add the "Ship" as a race on the background tab and can then add addition features as "Gear" items.

Hello,

I get that the RC files no longer work due to some updating by Hero Lab and Frog God does not want / cannot invest in time and resources to follow. And there is probably a dispute of some sort which does not interest me.
As a DM :this sucks ! Plainly. I was looking forward to a RC campaign using Hero Lab as a selling point.

Discovering that some of the files I paid for no longer work is not pleasant, and trying to attract players to options not supported by the software is quite difficult nowadays, especially after spending so much time promoting the software to my player base.

Not to mention other files I bought have suffered the same fate, but I am not concerned about them.

I do not see any good rationale to invalidate existing files.

Could existing files be at least taken over by the community ? If not, could I revert to an earlier version of Hero Lab (preferably also compatible with Freeport) ?

Frustratingly yours.

Advice welcome, solutions praised, and all that.

Francois

Can you give details of what your talking about? The Razor Coast files are still present and freely available to all to download. I have a copy on my current HL software that runs just fine for both the iPad and Desktop.

So I have no clue what your issue is or what your talking about. :(

If HL is giving you an error on load, causing it to fall into safe mode, please RIGHT click on the error message and paste it here. I can help figure out the error very often.

Umm the razor coast files are still up and running. If you are having problems submit a bug report.

The link Shadow gave takes me to a page, where the files have been moved.
This is also on the Wolflair site.

Find Updates.
Add Source.
Copy/Paste this URL https://froggodgames.com/sites/defau...GCPupdates.xml

That is the same as my existing FGG url.

Opening Razor Coast, and going to random pages...
- A Fah-jee is available, under races.
- A Necroworm Queen is available under Races.

A named vampire, like Chiho Molina is not available under Races.
But you can go to the Encounter Builder (Game Master Menu > Show Encounter Builder) and find him there.

So it seems all (that I have checked) of the generic races/creature types can be found within the base Hero Lab, if you want a generic version of the creature/race.
And at least some of the NPCs can be found from within the Encounter Builder.

Having not run this one yet, I'm not sure as to the extent of included content... or if anything is missing.

Ualaa, that is how Hero Lab is supposed to work. The basic races and templates are in races.

Specific instances of creatures, prebuilt characters and the like are under the Encounter Builder but only if they are made in a special portfolio called a stock file. If the developers at FG didn't make the character, it will not be there. :)

I clicked on Configure Hero and didn't see the Fah-jee under races? I installed the FGG material from

https://froggodgames.com/sites/defau...GCPupdates.xml

Am I missing something?

fah-jee and necroworm queen are files from the razor coast hl file. not just from the FGG updater. Just a fyi
