Blood Armor Spell
There doesn't seem to be a way to increase AC after casting Blood Armor which comes from Advanced Class Guide. Any chance that it can be added to the Spell Adjustments section?
|
You can add an Enhancement Bonus to your AC under Other Adjustments. You could make a version for Blood Armor, but since Hero Lab doesn't normally track what type of damage a character takes you're going to have to track piercing/slashing damage separately anyway.
|
That will work. However, you should remember that Hero Lab doesn't keep track of the loss of an ability score when attacked but you can select to lower your temporary ability score in the Adjust tab. There's a Spell Adjustment section in that tab where the spell can be added. Then when the character takes damage that would change the AC the player can go to the Spell Adjustment labeled Blood Armor and make the adjustment.

Any updates on this? I also can't see a way to add Blood Armor under Spell Adjustments and have AC automatically adjusted as damage is taken. I guess it's having to track the type of damage that complicates things?

Well, since we don't track types of damage taken, the user would likely have to set the bonus themselves.
We rely on user donations for spell adjustments, so if you wanted to try your hand at making this one, you could donate it for everyone to make use of. We give a small shout out to people who do so in the release notes. |
The Community Pack has the adjustment "Equipment, Armor Enhancement" which lets you add a non-stacking enhancement bonus to Armor. This seems to do exactly what the Blood Armor spell does.
Install Community Pack and turn on ShadowChemosh Adjustments. Then on the Adjust tab under Other Adjustments add "Equipment, Armor Enhancement". |
