Running two characters in a session

I play in a D&D 4e group. I couple of us run two characters because we are a small group. is there any option or ability to have two profiles open at the same time. It's not very useful to have to constantly save and switch profiles for XP and treasure.

You can open two copies of the program on your computer, and alt-tab between them.

you can have more than one character in a profile.
