Periapt of Wound Closure
 

Hi all

Where would I find the Periapt of Wound Closure? I need to add a Crown of Wound Closure, and the best solution I can think of is to adapt the periapt as that already exists.

Unless you are adding something new to you Crown, the easiest thing would be just to add a Periapt and rename it using the Adjustment 'Custom Name (Equipment)'

I'm not sure about the community adjustment to name change but the Periapt is an SRD wondrous item that's not in a file you can see directly.

You can just do a new(copy) in the editor on the wondrous items tab and copy the periapt, give it a name change, save and you're done.

It should be tyhe adjustment: Custom Name (Equipment) under the custom names tab. I believe they are curtesy of ShadowChemosh. :)

I'm still lost with this - I can't find the original periapt to use as a base. Where is it hiding, please? I've been through every .user file and I can't find it.

Open the editor, Equipment tab, Wondrous sub tab. Click New(Copy), search for 'wound'. It's item id 'miPeriWoun'

Found it, created a copy, made very small amendments, try to save it into a new .user file and get the following error message:

What am I doing wrong? Help!

To me, it sounds like you made a copy of the whole COM_5ePack_DMG - Equipment.user file, naming it: kynn.user.
This made identical copies of all the items in the COM_5ePack_DMG - Equipment.user file and they are conflicting with the originals since they have the same names.

What you need to do is make a blank file named kynn.user (or something similar) and in that file make a copy of the Periapt of Wound Closure. Give that item a new tag, and make your changes to that item.

Like I said, from the errors listed, it looks like you have duoplicates of all/many of the items in the COM_5ePack_DMG - Equipment.user and they are conflicting with each other.
