Tracking arrows?

Okay, I can't be the first person to ask this, but I can't find the answer anywhere. My players leveled up, so I'm going through their character sheets and, as part of a general update, updating their tracked resources, e.g., if they've used 7 arrows, I go into In-Play tab, and mark off 7 arrows. But when I reprint their character sheet, it still shows the same number of arrows.

Is there another way I should be doing this? I want the tracked resources to indicate that they've used up some of their supplies.

Delete 7 arrows, if they don't buy back up to the original number.

Okay, I guess that will work. What about something like a wand where you want to decrease the number of charges?

Create it as a custom wand in the first place, and then you can edit it to reduce the number of charges in the wand.

Ahhh, I see - thanks!

Actually the tracked resources section of the output should have that info, as you mark uses (without having to sell)

The same. This is about using arrows in combat, not buying them.
