New update - v3.6
 

Hello everyone,

The v3.6 update for the 4th edition data files is now available! We had to rush this update out due to changes in the compendium - due to the disappearance of some records, the downloader was no longer working. The only change in this release is support for the July compendium update, which had only minor changes from the June update (other than a couple of powers mysteriously disappearing).

any idea when the Heroes of Shadows classes will be added? The DDI update took nearly 24 hours for me this time, that was a huge jump from last update. Everything seems to be working at this time.

Does the current DDI Compendium update include D&D Essentials classes for Heroes of the Fallen Lands and Heroes of the Forgotten Kingdoms? I'm currently playing in an Essentials only campaign, and strongly considering adding the 4e license to my Herolab, but only if Fallen Lands and Forgotten Kingdoms are supported in the Compendium. Thanks.

Yes HL does inculded both, and you can even go through the "congifure your character" and set up to only use those sources (but that would only allow content from those books) but you can set it up to remove books that you do not want in the campaign, such as dark sun or eberron if you did not want to included those.
You should understand that HL is a stand alone, to have content for 4E you would need a DDI subscription (for at least 1 month) to have all the content from the compendium. After you download then you would not need to update further, unless you wanted new content.

The classes, from heroes of shadows are not in this month, all the paragon except Shadow Shaper, are in and all the paragon classes are present. The races are there, at least the new ones added, but Revenant is using the Dragon mag version, which is slightly different (they now have low-light vision) but I think everything else is the same.
