just wondering if anyone else has noticed...

ab2 v3.45, ( is used still ) &
ab3 v1.6...( I see that 1.7 was released recently I dont have it downloaded yet...
anyways

when takeing the significant divergance allows for marines to take the various traits.

Assault Marines - via a trait can take Furious Assault, yet without takeing a single trait and not generating an error they seem to be able to take the trait of Furious Assault.

I don't exactly follow what you mean here. Please give a detailed explanation how to recreate this situation, specifically listing which rules options you select for your army list that makes this possible.
