I am now getting
"String assigned to attribute exceeds maximum length" for a subtype that
is 34 characters long.
I have tried to set the width in the .def file to 40 but this has no effect.

<group id="subtype" name="Subtype" width="40" dynamic="yes">
<value id="sub0" name="Jedi Knight"/>
</group>

Names are limited to a maximum of 30 characters currently. The "width"
value is the default initial column width used for display. It is not a
specification of the actual width of the names in the tag group.

Thanks, Rob
