Adding material via the Authoring Kit

Hey all I have a couple of questions.

I have Hero Builder and I am planning on picking up the d20 3.5 add-on. I have some classes I want to add to it (a d20 book I wrote a while back).

Can I do this with the Authoring Kit?

Also.

Can I use the Authoring Kit to add a whole new game system? Say like Ghosts of Albion?

Thanks,

Tim

If by Hero Builder you mean Hero Lab, then you don't need to use the Authoring kit to add D&D 3.5 classes, you can do that with the built in editor.

To add a new game system, yes, you must use the Authoring kit.

Each of the existing game systems has an integrated editor, which can be used to add material to that system. You do not need the authoring kit to add things like a new class, you can do that with just the 3.5 package.

The authoring kit is designed to allow people to enter new game systems, or make use of any game systems that have been created by others, and we're happy to help you work your way through adding your new game system.

Cool!

Thanks so much.

Ok, so I'll buy the Authoring kit here in a bit. I want to add a bunch of Unisystem games, in particular Ghosts of Albion. I have all the material (and then some) and I am comfortable with XML and programing in general.

ETA: Yes, I meant Hero Lab. ;)
