Resource 'enccovplac' error

I just bought and loaded the Rise of the Runelords encounter pack and now I'm receiving this error when I try to load hero lab:

Quote:

The data files could not be loaded due to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors.

The following errors occurred:

Resource 'enccovplac' - Bitmap file could not be loaded: C:\ProgramData\Hero Lab\data\pathfinder\encounter_cover_placeholder.bm p
then it tries to compile and gives me this error:

The error is completely locking me out of herolab for pathfinder. I am able to load herolab for fifth edition.

Any help is appreciated!

The first thing to try in cases like this is a re-install of the package - it could have gotten messed up in the install. I'd re-install Pathfinder itself first, and if that doesn't work, then re-install RotRL.

There's no need to uninstall them - just get fresh downloads, and let the installer run.

Just to add some additional info. Go HERE to manually download the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game file using your browser. Then simply double click the file to have HL install Pathfinder again.

You don't need to uninstall Hero Lab binary application just re-install the Pathfinder game software.
