JSON Error with new Pathfinder 2 Game System for HLO
 

Hi!

I get this message a lot with the "final" PF2 game system.

Note: This error did not appear anymore after recent updating of Hero Lab. So this can be closed.

Everyone, please report bugs using the normal bug reporting system (which is within the program, from the icon at the top right that looks like a gear). Please do not hide them in forum threads when we have so many threads to catch up on after Gen Con.

Where is the ability to make JSON in HLO?

I've also experienced this multiple times; much more a few days ago. I've reported it via the bug report a couple times as well.

It uses JSON itself; the report isn't about generating it and getting errors but the pasted output error when the system fails to load the data source for the page.

Currently, we don't have a native JSON output mode, only normal text, HTML, BBCode and WikiText. Some creative and resourceful folks might be able to convert from BBCode to XML and then XML to JSON but that is another can of worms entirely. :D
