Thanks! |
I seem to have run into an issue with the Mac version. In the editor when i try to change an Thing ID, for a skill name specifically, it can't sort to any skills. When i pull down the menu for all the items and select Skill from the list, no skills are available. also when i scroll down through the list of everything to find the skill name, it doesn't add it to the line of code that i highlighted.

A minor issue: Hero Lab for Mac will let me save a portfolio with a question mark in the name. The save works, but when I try to later open that portfolio I get a File Not Found error.
Renaming the file to remove the question mark allows it to be opened again. |
what is the best way to "migrate"
[mod can delete this post, i had posted a question before seeing the answer was already there]

Feats with dropdowns in d20
It seems fine now, but i was using a feat that made you select a dropdown, and when i selected the dropdown (for example, weapon focus), the text in the dropdown was fine, but the feat name became invisible.

The last two were bugs, this one is a question:
The windows version has items in the file menu such as export active hero to pdf. Is there no way to do this in the mac version? |
You can print to PDF natively on a Mac. To do so, click HeroLab --> Print Hero, choose "Print Now", and then in the printer dialog that comes up, click "PDF". From there, you can give a filename and the document will be "printed" to a PDF file.
