On Wednesday morning (September 11) at 10 AM Pacific time, we plan to take Hero Lab Online down for maintenance. We expect up to about 30 minutes of downtime, though it may be less.

I was creating a character at the point the downtime began (didn't see the message board post beforehand) and now the character seems to be corrupted. Nothing seems to be adding to the PC correctly. Is there an issue with anything that happened during the downtime or do I need to just start again (which would be very annoying)?

Must say I'm getting pretty fed up with the issues that I'm experiencing with HLO at the moment

So the issue now seems to be that when I add something to a character I will still get validation errors flagged unless I log out and log back into HLO. That can't be right. Could someone check this issue please?

Can I add to this that i have changed my plans this evening due to the issues caused by this downtime as I had to change my plans on Saturday due to what happened then. I will not continue supporting this product (I have purchased every HLO package for both PF and SF) if these issues continue. As others have said elsewhere, if the system can't be relied upon then I might as well resort to paper or PDF character sheets.

Please do something about this.

I don't know if the downtime or update broke something, but I'm getting the same issue. I was making some changes to my character and my level, my pathfinder school points, my stats starting get out of whack.

I tried to crate a new character and same thing. I suddenly went up to level 5, my pathfinder school points went to 6 (instead of 3).

Something is not working right now.

Our apologies folks. If any of you logged in after our update today you may have noticed some peculiar behaviors. We’ve since rolled back the update and are working on chasing down the gremlins responsible.

If anyone was super excited to make high level monsters this morning from one of the new races, those portfolios are generating errors. We'd recommend that if you have created a level 13+ monster you do not open that portfolio again until we've fixed and released the new version.
