Tutorials

Has anyone written (or can point me to) a tutorial on using the HL editor? Specifically i am looking for info and how-tos on creating new monsters.

I feel surely this information is somewhere, but my searching skills have failed me.

There's also information in this forum, in the stickied threads named "Editor and Scripting Resources", and "Pathfinder/Hero Lab Community FAQ"

Thanks for the help and I am definitely on the right path...

However, i can't figure out how to assign skill points for the default creature. Say a magical beast with 3 HD. I found where i could give the race bonuses to skills, not where to set the base skill points.

I'm going to go look up another creature and see if i can figure it out from there.

Thanks again!

try copying a race that has skill points and check out how they do it (I'll give you a hint, it involves a macro) and make sure you look at the Timing on it.

Sticked at the top of this forum is a FAQ thread. HERE is the glossary of terms for HL.

Also see FAQ#2 which shows all the places to learn about the editor.

What "keywords" did you use to search? I find allot of people saying they kind find the FAQ thread. Wondering what words to add to make it appear....
