Suggestions for best cheap CCG
I'm a former MTG player - but want to start playing other CCGs.
Especially ones that were underrated or undiscovered jewels when they came out - and subsequently might be very inexpensive on ebay or wherever. Randy |

BattleTech is pretty good. It plays like something between Magic and the new Star Wars TCG. And you can get booster boxes for 20-30 on ebay. It's set in the BattleTech/MechWarrior universe, and, of course, features BattleMechs prominently.
You can get pre-Gold L5R, Legend of the Burning Sands, and 7th Sea cheap most places. They all play similarly, are all good, and take place in Asia, Arabia, and fictional pirate infested lands, respectively. --Kyle Turner emperor799@earthlink.net "It seemed to me," said Wonko the Sane, "that any civilization that had so far lost its head as to need to include a set of detailed instructions for use in a package of toothpicks, was no longer a civilization in which I could live and stay sane." -- So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish ----- Original Message ----- From: crandall57 To: cardvault@yahoogroups.com Sent: Tuesday, March 11, 2003 6:19 PM Subject: [CardVault] Suggestions for best cheap CCG I'm a former MTG player - but want to start playing other CCGs. Michelle, you're supposed to include the "shameless plug" qualifier in
posts like this. :-> I'm just giving you a hard time, because I can. I personally loved INWO and I've only heard good things about OtE. :-) -Rob At 06:02 PM 3/11/2003 -0600, you wrote: >Illuminati New World Order and On the Edge are both still available by >mail order (at $56 and $20 a POP, respectively). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rob Bowes (rob@wolflair.com) (559) 658-6995 Lone Wolf Development www.wolflair.com |
