Also got a similar error for "sample-barbarian-cleric.por"

This is in the demo version of 3.5, using the latest Pathfinder update.

And then on top of that, when i closed the program, it crashed:

I'm running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate with all known security patches installed via Windows Update.

Can't say I'm too keen on buying the program, if it is this unstable. :(

Hi,

The demo version of Hero Lab has a limitation that prevents you from making characters that are "too complex". A long time ago we decided to raise this to a limit which wouldn't really affect players unless they were making ridiculously complex characters - unfortunately it looks like Pathfinder has blown past those limits without us noticing. :(

The characters you're having problems with work fine in the full version of Hero Lab, just like the level 1 versions do. Sorry for the inconvenience - we'll make sure this problem is resolved in the next version of HL.

Thanks for the bug report!

I believe that this bug will be fixed in the next release of Hero Lab. We've been meaning to do a bugfix release for a while, but there's always something that comes up to delay us. :( The new release should be out soon.

Ah ok, thanks for the replies. I believe I read about the character generation limitations in the demo so that makes sense.

Anyway, I forgot to mention that overall I'm very impressed with the program. It's by far the easiest and most advanced Pathfinder RPG character generator I've used so far, not to mention it's rather easy on the eyes. ;)
