View Full Version : Flat-Footed vs negative bonus to dex

I don't know if it's a bug or a misinterpretation of the rules on my part but here is what i get

I have a character monk level 4 with a dex of 7 (-2).

When i look at the AC of the character i get AC 19, which is ok considering the -2 penality from the DEX.

But when i look at the flat footed AC, i get AC 21. The program removes the penalty to AC due to my dex. I think it interprets the Flat-footed rules that says the dex bonus to AC is removed when flat footed. But in my case, it's not an AC bonus, it's an AC penalty. I don't think the -2 to AC should be removed in that case.

Am i wrong?

You're correct. I'll put this on my to-do list.

Any ETA on this small bug.

My character sheet feels wrong when i see it with the error.

Did you mean to say Flat-footed CMD instead of Flat-Footed AC?

There doesn't seem to be a problem with the Flat-footed ac, but there is currently a bug in the Flat-footed CMD - it's not incoporating the DEX penalty. That'll be fixed in the next update.

You're right, it was the CMD flat footed and now it's fixed by the recent update.

Thank you very much.
