Is it possible that when a PC has a magic weapon that it generates a "card" simular to a power (that also has the ability to be printed only when the player wants it) so that it appears simular to a potion of healing for example a magic dagger +2 it would be nice to have a card (which would only need to be printed once for the character) to appear with the information about the item ie
it adds a +2 to hit and damage rolls
on a crit you roll 2d_ and add that to your damage
proficiency bonus + __
ect

NOW an out of the world cool idea would be it some how art work could be added to the item and flavor text along with how or were the item was aquired ect.

Okay enough from me for tonight

The art stuff would definitely be cool - but also a lot of work. ;)

Would such a card really be useful? Most of the time when you use a magic weapon you're using it with one of a few specific powers, so you don't care about the magic weapon damage, just the damage of the power when used with it.

Colen you are correct 95% of the time the magic weapon is already built into HL read out its the 5% AKA nat 20 when the item is important what extra damage dice does it allow and how many, plus it would be nice to have a "card" for it so that people remember that they are using a magic weapon.

I know the art would be a pain in the sit-a-pon, but maybe a deal could be worked out with the PIAZO guys who make the item cards those would be cool, AH to dream!
