Hello,
New to realm works and hero lab. Just bought them both.
I am running a pathfinder based with some home brew rules.
I bought the pathfinder module for Hero lab.
Are there any other addons that any dms could recommend?
I am looking basically at already getting the bestiary 1-3 pack and the spells one.. But was want to know if there were any for NPC development and the like.
And while I am on it are there any other recommended add ons? In General?

Thanks
Dentaa

For NPC development, you can use Hero Lab. When creating a new Character choose Non Player Character, select the ability roles rule set to use, and any options (on the right side) you prefer. At that point you can choose class, background, etc as usual.

Please keep in mind I only have experience using the D&D module and I'm not 100% sure this is what you're asking for, lol :)

Grab the Community Pack if you have the prereq book packages: http://forums.wolflair.com/showthread.php?t=51966

I create PC/NPC/mob in HeroLab, then save a copy to the appropriate directory and import the file into RW. I keep duplicate copies outside of RW to ensure remote access on computers without my RW account installed.

The community Pack no longer has any prereq book/license requirements. It will now load if you have a CORE only license or every license. LW made a change to the HL engine to no longer require specific licenses for addons. :)

Sweet! That's what I get for switching to 5e and not keeping up on the PF changes. That is fantastic!

On the good side the change is in the HL engine so "if" 5e ever got additional licenses the community 5e Pack will be able to take advantage of the change. :)

*Sigh* Yes, it would be nice.

My hope was raised when reading the most recent issue of Dragon+, in an article on tools, HeroLab was given a nice write-up. Keeping my fingers crossed....
