TA for Sportsgaming?

One of the many fannish hats I wear is as the commissioner for a league that plays a sports simulation game called Action PC Basketball. One of my headaches is that the scheduling system that comes with the game is severely flawed: last season several teams played 83 games instead of 82 and one played only 81. Would TA be at all useful in my situation?
