Nightmare Steed

I've got a character who rides a Nightmare, but can't figure out how to get the beast classified as a mount so it shows up in that tab. Help, please?

Also, it would be good if I could add class levels to it if possible.

On the Other tab, select the Hireling option, then select Nightmare as the race of that hireling.

What's preventing you from adding class levels? Like any other race, the nightmare should be able to select classes on the class tab.

Thanks, Mathias. I was thinking of it as a mount rather than a hireling so I didn't even try the hireling option.

And nothing kept me from adding the level once I actually got the race selected.

Behind the scenes, the only difference between the hireling option on that list and the various horse/dog options is that the hireling doesn't pre-select a race and doesn't have a cost.
